Whenever I see this scene, I can't unhear this blooper. You can tell he still struggled with it in the final take.

There was a Star Trek book 'Probe' that covered the origins of the probe rather well. The crew of the Enterprise had to confront it when the Federation received a distress call from the Romulans after the Probe started doing what it did to Earth to a Romulan colony world. It even implied it ran across the Borg, which were the only species that was able to do any harm to it.

Every show has a solution to the current problem that only takes one sentence to resolve, This approach would save the audience a whole hour of complete faff without the pointless need of character development..

And to think people ship Q with Picard.

TNG intakes will always be the best, but I'd love to see more DS9.

John De Lancie has that type of magnetic charisma you can't find in most people.

The punch at the end is the icing on the cake!

The DS9 intakes always get me just that little bit extra, I suppose it could be because of the "serious" tone on and to some extent offscreen. Or it could just be because DS9 is my favourite. Either way, I'm desperate for the "Avery accidentally punches Marc" intake 😂
